Four Pathways
Internship
RXRS Foundation works with local universities and community colleges to identify a student or new graduate. This position could be part-time for approximately six months at $13/hour. As an option for compensation, RXRS Services can be the Employer of Record and work all the HR functions (20% overhead). but everything can be done electronically. Your Company would have the option to convert the intern into a Registered Apprentice.
Pre-Apprenticeship
Here at MEIRxRS, we prepare new workers with the skills they will need to learn on-the-job quickly and effectively. For workers looking to change their career path, or who speak English as a second language, we offer educational programs enabling them to learn and prepare for success in your company’s apprenticeship, funded entirely through our RXRS Foundation.
Apprenticeship
Rx Research Services hand picks at least three candidates to interview with your company, based on their job specifications. These new workers and your company commit 12-24 months (depending on the apprentice’s education and/or experience) where the apprentice will work full time and earn two industry-recognized certifications. Apprentices, with AS degrees start at $15.00; Apprentices with BS degrees begin at $18/hour, and there are regular 10% wage increases built into the apprenticeship, as required by the Federal Department of Apprenticeship Services. In all cases, RXRS follows CA State Minimum Wage Law. The apprentice is an employee of Rx Research Services until graduation, when your company has the option to convert the apprentice to a full-time employee, or a full time contingent worker.
Incumbent Worker Apprenticeship
A partner company hires an individual with or without assistance from Rx Research Services, community colleges and/or universities. Once the new hire has worked at the company for six months, RXRS Foundation can register the new hire as an incumbent worker apprentice. Incumbent worker apprentices have a shorter program of 6-12 months. During their apprenticeship, the incumbent worker apprentice will remain a company employee and will become ASQ CQIA certified.
